Kate is a Registered Social Worker and worked in the non-profit sector for many years, supporting unhoused youth and adults, youth transitioning out of care, and families of young children in Toronto, Richmond and Vancouver. In 2016, she completed her MSW from the UBC with a focus on child and youth mental health and family support. Kate’s passion linking child and family research to policy and community development brought her to HELP in 2019.
