Hebah Hussaina is a PhD student in the School of Population and Public Health at the Outside Play Lab, supervised by Dr. Mariana Brussoni. Hebah holds a BSc. (2021) and MSc. (2024) in pediatric health sciences research, and is passionate about supporting healthy child development and communities. Hebah’s research interests lie in the intersection of pediatric mental health and outdoor & risky play, especially through the lens of health promotion initiatives and knowledge translation. In her spare time, Hebah enjoys baking and cooking for her family and friends, powerlifting at the gym, and spending time in the outdoors.
