Kayla Kostal is a PhD student in the School of Population and Public Health. She received her Master of Science in Community Health Sciences using data from the Manitoba Centre for Health Policy, and a Bachelor of Arts Honours in Psychology from the University of Manitoba. Her work involves examining parental cancer on child developmental health outcomes, using linked administrative data, including the Early Development Instrument (EDI) and Middle Years Development Instrument (MDI). This work aims to generate actionable evidence that can assist in guiding equitable, family-centered supports for those impacted by cancer.
